BC Theatre Arts offers classes in dancing, singing and acting to all ages from 4 years old to senior citizens. It celebrates all genres of musical theatre in a fun environment to build each individual's confidence and self esteem. If you have a passion for performing, BC Theatre Arts is for you. We provide a safe, nurturing environment for students of all ages to express, experiment and to grow as individuals and performers.
Meet Beth!
Originally from Manchester, Beth Cox began her training at the age of 3 years old with Susan Town in Kent and later Elizabeth Hill in St Helens.

At the age of 16 Beth continued her training at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, Surrey, graduating with Laine’s professional Musical Theatre Diploma and teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap with the ISTD.
​
Following an extensive performing career in the UK and abroad Beth spent several years in and around London teaching at Vocational Colleges, Dance Schools and State Schools, whilst furthering her teaching qualifications. She spent a year teaching in Canada and before moving to the South West in 2010 spent five years teaching full time in Jersey, Channel Islands.

Many students have had winning success at national dance competitions such as The All England, Dance World Cup and after years of preparation, commitment and discipline have continued their training at some of the top vocational colleges in the country, including Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, Urdang, Mountview, Performers and Arts Ed. These students are now performing in the West End and touring productions.

Alongside teaching full time at dance schools in Bridgwater, teaching Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, extensively entering candidates for exams and competitions, Beth has continued to provide musical theatre workshops across Somerset, also Directing and Choreographing several local productions at The Tacchi Morris Arts Center and Taunton’s The Brewhouse Theatre. Alongside all of this she has continued to further her teaching qualifications gaining a degree in Dance Teaching and Learning with Trinity College. Most recently she has gained a licence to deliver the Dang Theatre and Dance syllabus, which she is very excited about bringing to Taunton!

Dance
BC Theatre Arts offers classes in Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap and Jazz, following the syllabus of the ISTD.
Act
As children, we have an appetite for mimicry, for demanding attention and for pretending to be someone else.
